'Whoa! What brings??!! Fancy seeing you around here.'
It turned out that Auntie Chicken had returned to Singapore and gave Duck a surprise visit.

Auntie Chicken passed a bag of Famous Amos to Duck and said 'I got this for you. I remember that you loved Famous Amos ever since you were a kid.' Being the glutton that Duck had always been, she was enraptured by the bag of Famous Amos. Feeling that something is amiss, Duck could feel her heart pulsate rapidly and heavily.

'Are you busy now?' questioned Auntie Chicken as her eyes looked straight into Duck's eyes. Duck wanted to lie about it but a 'No' rolled off her tongue. Perhaps, Duck's reflexs were too slow. The frequency between the mind and the mouth had a disconnection.

'6years of pounding on drums, 19years of doodling and 3years of being a delinquent. I'm glad to know that you've changed when you hit the age of 16 and was no longer a delinquent. But then, Young woman! You've wasted enough time on drums and idle drawings. When school starts, study study study! Education is everything. An education is how you'll make something of yourself.'
This was Auntie Chicken's opinion. Just that, it was expressed in a commanding order. Therefore, it is an order.

Duck, known to be as stubbon as a mule would never give in to that. But Auntie Chicken said more than those stated above. She said stuff that could bring anyone down.

When the conversation ended, Auntie Chicken left and Duck could hear herself sniffing.
'Don't you dare cry.No crying you little bastard. No tears and definately not for you. Buck up!' This phrase replayed in Ducks' mind like an old broken recorder.

Threw it all away
Passion's in the way

I adore my mum while taking her for granted. Just like every regular kid out there. My Mum's flaw is that she didn't make me work for it. She loves me coming and going, at my worst and at my best. There never was,not for a moment, a question of trust from me to her. If my mums says it, I believe it.

My Mum wasn't easy on me. She never did spare the rod when I was younger but she loved me. She had a bottomless well of love for me.

Kids chase the love that eludes them. Kids assume so much from one parent and hold the other to a lower, looser standard. I was wrong.

I am a Mummys' girl and not a Aunties' girl. Bottomless well of love beats bottomless well of dough, hands down. Even though 'no bread,no love' but it's love from a Mother to a child now. It's just different. Special and unique in every way.

I'm not afraid of death. I'm just afraid of my Mum having to leave me or Me having to leave my Mum.

Mum never did stand up for me when I was bullied in the past but she stood up for me by being my Mum.

This would be a song best suited for my Mum if I were to dedicate a song for her.. Don't get me wrong. I do not want to make out with her. You'll know which parts are meant for it if you think with your head and not your arse.

So many people gonna say that they want you,
To try to get you thinking they really care,
But there's nothing like the warmth of the one
Who has put in the time and you know he's gonna be there,
Back your border when she knows someone crossed it,
Don't let nobody put you down, who your with
Take the pain of protecting your name,
From the crutch to the cane to the highwire

I'm in love with a girl who knows me better,
Fell for the women just when i met her,
Took my sweet time when i was bitter,
Someone understands,
And she knows how to treat a fella right,
Give me that feeling every night,
Wants to make love when i wanna fight,
Now someone understand me,
I'm in love with a girl (I'm in love with) [x2]

Out the many broken backdoors and windows,
Through the valley of the love of the lost,
Is a hole that is cut through the souls falling down
From the thrones without leaving any windows,
But you drown in a piece for the moment,
The moment was over in time,
Then its gone the hit and run the tactless one has a short life

I'm in love with a girl who knows me better,
Fell for the women just when i met her,

Took my sweet time when i was bitter,
Someone understands,
And she knows how to treat a fella right,
Give me that feeling every night,
Wants to make love when i wanna fight,
Now someone understand me,
I'm in love with a girl (I'm in love with) [x2]

Gonna tell you what you do to think you practice what you preach,
Now i know there's nothing we cant preach,
'cause the heart can't erase once it finds a place to be warm and welcome,
To be held in shelter

I'm in love with a girl who knows me better,
Fell for the women just when i met her
Took my sweet time when i was bitter
Someone understands,
And she knows how to treat a fella right
Give me that feeling every night
Wants to make love when i wanna fight
Now someone understands me
I'm in love with a girl (I'm in love with) [x3]
Who knows me better
Wants to make love when i wanna fight
Now someone understand me

I repeat!! I do not want to make out with my Mum.

Why do something tomorrow, when it could be done the day after tomorrow?
There is always tomorrow.
When in doubt do nothing.

Its better to have loafed and lost than never to have loafed at all.

What is liberty? Leisure.
Happiness depends on Leisure.
Workers can't think.
If you are losing your leisure, you may be losing your soul.

He who loafs last loafs longest.

Imagination is more important than knowledge.
All the evil people in the world are already busy.
To idle people every day is a festival.
You cannot think and work at the same time.
Children ought to be idle -- it's good for them.
Thinkers don't work and workers don't think.

i'm waking up at the start of the end of the world
but it's feeling just like every other morning before
now i wonder what my life is gonna mean if it's gone
cars are moving like a half a mile an hour
and i started staring at the passengers waving goodbye
can you tell me what was ever really special about me all this time

when i believe the world is burning to the ground
oh well, i guess we're gonna find out
let's see How Far We've Come
let's see how far we've come
well, i believe it all is coming to an end
oh well i guess we're gonna pretend
let's see how far we've come
let's see how far we've come

i think you turned to the clock but i don't really know
and i can't remember caring pouring out of her soul
started crying and i couldn't stop myself
i started running but there's nowhere to run to
i sat down on the street took a look at myself
say where we're going but you don't know where it's headed oh well
say your goodbyes if you got someone you can say goodbye to

it's gone, gone, baby it's all gone
there's no-one in the corner and there's no-one at home
it's cool, cool, it was just all cool
it's over for me and it's over for you
now it's no don't, baby it's all gone
there's no-one in the corner and there's no-one at home
it's cool, cool, it was just all coolit's over for me and it's over for you
