I'm feeling lethargic and I want to 'siam' away from the books for awhile. My body would stiffen at the sight of books. Whenever the books flip open and the wind blows, the pages hiss and I'll be able to smell it's putrid breath a mile away. This is another essay done but this time round, someone DID help and ar teacher mark already ar... So, it's kind of like edited. =) But got some never change cause I don't know how to ar. Hahaha

Confidence

Confidence can either be an emotional state of mind or be subjective. Generally, confidence is being certain.Confidence is one of the factors needed to reach the top.

Self-confidence,believing in own abilites or rather self-assurance in one ability to succeed,is the first step one has to take before becoming successful.Since that it is the the first step one has to take,it would probably be the toughest of all. For example, the starting up of a car and a baby learning how to walk. More power would be needed to kick-start the engine of a car.An infant has to tumble and fall before it succeeds in taking his or her first steps. The similarities? They are all tougher at the beginning. Therefore, self-confidence plays a major role in being successful.

However, being overly-confident may lead you to the downfall of your hopes.Too much of a good thing can bring you down - everything in moderation. People who are overly-confident are what people call as arrogant, prideful, egocentric and self-centered whereas those that lacks confidence are known as sensitive or attention seekers.

The lack of confidence and being overly-confident are actually interlinked.People who are boastful or overly confident are generally people with low self-esteem.They build their happiness onto the sorrows of others. This is one of the methods used to help themselves feel better. Those that lack confidence use the exact same method. They too habitually put others down and cause others to feel inferior.Naturally, they have their issues.

They both lack trust and fear new experiences. Disappointments and defeats would cause them to break-down. They have a strong need for approval and have to be frequently reassured.Whenever they are handed a task, they tend to feel intimidated even if it is a small one.Normally, they would be reluctant to express their point of views or ideas because they believe that by doing so,they would be vulnerable to attacks. The feeling of insecurity causes them to be sensitive to criticism but overly critical to others.Tall tales and exaggerated success would be told by them to help cover up the feelings of inadequacy. Everyday, they would be using a lot of energy to maintain a false image.

To be submerged with confidence or to have the absence of confidence are both unhealthy. It is always good to have a balance in everything. It can be the bane of one's life or the potion that one needs.

My heart is smouldering in resentment. I'm making no effort to hide my disdain. TIRED AND CRANKY!
Prelims are screwed up and O's fucked up. I am getting disgusted and I want to protest so badly! English's up tomorrow. I better at least get a C5 for english or I'll chop off my hands and never write another story. Hahaha!

I'm starving. I'll go stuff my face with food. ByeBye!
Iced Milo would be of great help now.
